Illikal Kallu is a major tourist attraction spot in Moonnilavu Village, Meenachil taluk, Kottayam district of Kerala (India). Situated about 4000 feet above sea level, it is also one of the highest peak in Western Ghats. Illikal Kallu is a rock situated above Illikal Mala. The thing that makes this rock unique is that half of the rock has fallen off, and only the other half remains.

Thangal para is a pilgrimage destination for Muslims because of the resting place (Dargah) of Sufi Saint Hasrath Sheikh Fariduddin Baba. It also boasts of offering some amazing views as it is surrounded by lush grasslands and meadows. If you are a trekking enthusiast, you can climb up to the rock, an uphill task. There is also an ancient cave near Thangal Para, which is worth visiting that involves little tekking.
Uluppuni is an emerging tourist destination near Vagamon in the Idukki district of Kerala. Uluppuni is located 3 km away from The Grasmere. Uluppuni is the best place for off-roading. Uluppuni Vagamon is an excellent place for Photo shooting. The major attraction of Uluppuni is the picturesque meadows. Uluppuni journey would be a very good trekking experience and worth putting some effort to see the majestic scenery.
The tourist adventure site of Wagamon is situated at the hills of Kolahalamedu, 4 kms from Wagamon, forming part of south India‘s second highest peak namely the Amruthamedu. There is a 10 km long ridge of 3,000 feet in height from top to bottom. This site has steady winds blowing in the south western direction throughout the season. The paragliding season starts from September and offers great flying conditions until January and again, from March to May.
Murugan Mala is a small hill situated on the eastern side of Kurisumala. The temple of Lord Murugan, situated on this hill, was constructed using a single rock. It is also known as the Murugan Para and is situated about 8 km away from the town of Vagamon.
